FUTA General Cut-Off Mark 2023/2024

The cut-off mark is the minimum score required for admission to a school.

If your score is below the school’s cut-off mark, you won’t be able to register for their Post-UTME and you won’t be admitted to that school.

For example, if the general cut-off mark for FUTA is 180 and your score is 179, you won’t be eligible to register for their screening exercise or post-UTME.

Each school can set its own cut-off mark, but it cannot be lower than the minimum cut-off mark set by JAMB.

FUTA Post-UTME Eligibility:

To be eligible for the FUTA Post-UTME, you need to fulfill the following criteria:

  • Score exactly or above the FUTA cut-off mark.
  • Choose Federal University of Technology, Akure as your first choice of institution during the UTME registration.
  • Have a minimum of five O’level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
  • Be at least 16 years of age.

If you didn’t initially choose FUTA but scored 180 and above in the 2021 UTME, you can change your institution to FUTA via the JAMB website.
